Afridi Served Legal Notice Over ‘Love For India’ Statement

A day after Afridi's announcement that they were cherished more in India he was dragged to the court for conferring injustice and harming the suppositions of Pakistanis

A 36 year old Pakistan Cricket skipper was presented with legitimate notification on Monday by a senior legal advisor for his announcement in front of World T20 competition. 

"I have served a legal  notification on Shahid Afridi and 'accepted' executive of Pakistan Cricket Board Najam Sethi for their adoration for India over Pakistan. I have additionally composed to PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan to dispatch an investigation into the announcement of Afridi in India," Advocate Azhar Saddique said.

“Afridi has let down the whole Pakistani nation for expressing more love for India than Pakistan. In fact he has committed treason. Now who will ensure that Pakistani team will play against India in Kolkata in T20 match to win,” Saddique added.

                    

“I’ve not enjoyed playing anywhere as much as I have in India. I am in the last stage of my career and I can say that the love I have got in India is something that I will always remember. We have not got this much love even from Pakistan. There are cricket-loving people here, much like in Pakistan. Overall, I’ve enjoyed a lot playing in India in my cricketing career”.

This statement by Afridi has got him troubles and advocate Saddique has accused him that these kinds of insensitive statements will hurt the sentiments of the Pakistanis and made Afridi’s life vulnerable.

The notices have been sent to both Afridi and Sethi’s residences.
