Many of them openly criticized him in local media stating Bhuma has no credibility as he has a history of changing parties after enjoying key positions in those parties.
In the past Bhuma Nagi Reddy was a key leader of TDP, later he dumped the TDP and joined the Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party, but after the debacle of PRP in 2009 elections, Bhuma couple has joined Congress party under the leadership of Y S Rajasekhar Reddy. Soon after the death of YSR they joined the Jagan’s camp and then to YSRCP.
“Now, he is back in the TDP. He has lost his credibility among the people. How can we sail with him, just because we had been loyal to his family all these years? We have to take care of our political future, too,” a YSRC leader from Nandyal observed.
